Order matters
Do not click the cat immediately. Get tea leaves from the lockbox, feed some tea to the cat, then continue the normal sticky-substance steps. After the cat is sick, check the hallway crate (TheGamer also mentions the crate behind Alexandra) for green powder.
Brew Alexandra’s cup with both the regular tea and the green powder. The chapter still completes if you skip it — you just miss Serving Matcha Latte.
